I've 3GS 3.1.3 O2 Czech Republic, downloaded your file, installed and the tethering option doesn't show up.
What shall we do? Wait or something better? :)

HI, I AM IN USA. HAVE 3GS 3.13 . Totally erased tethering.
did the new download called thing at benn. but that was it ,nothing happened. the profile shows up in general, but no tethering to use.
WHAT does one do, i took it off. how come i dont see any answers here.oh english please.

When I try to download (US, AT&T) I get the message "Invalid Profile - Profile format not recognized"

Ich hab mich den "T-Mobile Netherlands" profile im iPhone gespeichert, und sieh das Profiel auch im Settings, aber unter Network gibt's noch immer kein Tethering.
Hab ich etwas falsch gemacht oder...?

Just tried the France -> Orange Contract on my 3.1.3 iPhone, the Internet Tethering option just disappears from the phone.

If your iphone is simlocked (which I suppose it is) it will not work.

The same happened with me as the tethering menu did not show, however, I've tried a 2nd time where I put the carrier to be as same as what is in the iPhone about menu and disabled the clips. Then, the tethering works. Try to generate your profile if the existing one does not work.

Downloaded AT&T using Safari>Develop>User Agent> iPhone. Downloaded the AT&T mobileconfig (filename: benmat.mobileconfig, size: 8.5KB) and emailed it to my iPhone. Still get "Invalid Profile Profile format not recognized." Did I do something wrong? Any other suggestions?

Step 3: Choose From Down Create your Own
Step 4: on Carrier name Put : Zain KW
APN: pps
User: pps
Passwoard: pps
Step 5: Download
Be Sure that everything will be just ok : tap Download the wait till it Done
Go to Setting---General----Network--- Then You will find Internet Tethering Vaild
Enjoy Connecting your Notebook to Internet by you iPhone via bluetooth or Cable
