Diesen Informationen zufolge wird der iPod touch 3rd Gen über einen Broadcom BCM4329 Bluetooth 2.1+EDR Chip verfügen, welcher auch als FM-Empfänger agieren kann und mit dem WiFi Standard 802.11n kompatibel ist.

Auch der im iPod touch 2G verbaute Broadcom Bluetooth Chip könnte als FM Radio Empfänger herhalten, Apple hat diese Funktion aber (noch) nicht aktiviert.
