Google Voice ist wie heute bereits erwähnt der VoIP Service vom Suchmaschinenriesen Google. Vor kurzem wurden ALLE Google Voice Apps aus dem AppStore entfernt. Sean Kovacs, der Entwickler des bekanntesten Google Voice Apps “GV Mobile” möchte sein geliebtes App nicht unnötig sterben lassen und bietet sein Programm nun kostenlos via Cydia an.

Anyway, I’ll be releasing GV Mobile v1.2 on Cydia for free today or tomorrow, with an update coming in a couple weeks. Why free? People pirate it anyway, so why not. I do appreciate everyone that bought it – you are the ones that fueled this app to be what it is today. That doesn’t mean you have to go get a refund (because that would hurt me, not Apple).

Leider ist Google Voice in Europa noch nicht verfügbar. Das dazugehörige App ab jetzt hingegen schon.

    Vielleicht erkennen sie jetzt mal was für eine verkorkste Politik sie haben und das man nicht immer auf die Provider hören sollte.

    Bin gespannt wie diese Schlacht weiter gehen wird.

    mal ne ganz andere frage: weiß jemand ob man iBluetooth schon auf dem 3GS cracken kann? angeblich funktionierts zwar schon mit FW 3.0 aber halt nur auf dem 3G.
    weiß da jemand bescheit?

    Man kann sich nicht registrieren, sondern lediglich auf der Warteliste für Einladungen vermerken lassen. Ob und wann du dann von Google eingeladen wirst, steht in den Sternen.

    Wartet es doch einfach mal ab. Google Voice ist auch nichts anderes als Skype… Meine Güte, ihr tut als wäre das Rad neu erfunden worden.

    Ja genauch gleich wie Skype ist es schon nicht, GV hatt doch ein paar tolle Features die Skype halt nicht hat.
    Gewisse Leute freuen Sich halt eben wenn mal ein neues Program erscheint. ( Ich gehöre auch dazu )

    Hab mich jetzt mal auf die warteschlange gesetzt…
