Das Programm liest verschiedene Informationen vom iPhone aus (darunter Firmware-Version, Baseband und Bootloader), und zeigt im Anschluss an, ob es für die erkannte Kombination ein passendes Jailbreak- oder Unlock-Tool gibt.

Easy-iPhone kommt mit einem vollständigen deutschen Interface.

Systemvoraussetzungen für das Tool (noch in der Alpha-Phase mit einigen bereits bekannten Problemen) sind Windows XP, Vista oder Windows 7, iTunes 8.0 oder höher und die .NET Framework 2.0.
